“Nice hotel but not as good as La Gomera!”
Second part of our honeymoon for 4 nights in May. Nice hotel about 5k from Port. Hired a car and drove to it. Perched on hillside overlooking sea. We’d originally booked into a superior double but when I asked to see a standard they were virtually the same except for a sea view and a four poster bed....didn’t warrant the 40euros in my view so we swapped. Still had a partial sea view. The standard room was excellent, medium size, balcony and two queen beds. The hotel is quite new and the facilities have been styled on the colonial. Food and wine were very very good and we didn’t experience any problems other than the over priced Langoustines (25euros for 4 !) - everything else was cheap in my view! Really extensive local wine list which was excellent.
