Jim Corbett National Park: The home for many wild animals
In India, there is no dearth of national parks, and almost every park has its peculiarity that makes it different than other parks. However, this park is a unique park in many terms. The name of the park is derived from a famous hunter of man-eating tigers Jim Corbett. The park is located in the district of Nainital in the state of Uttarakhand. - Garjiya Temple: Garjiya Devi Temple is known as one of the holiest temples in the area. This temple is dedicated to the Goddess Garjiya who is also known as one of the carnations of Goddess Parvati. The temple is situated 14 km away from Ramnagar. There are also idols of Lord Ganesh, Bhairav Nath and Goddess Saraswati in the temple premises. It is situated on the bank of river Kosi and one of the leading tourist spot and holy place.
- Jhirna: For those who love to see the wildlife, this south corner of the park is the best place where some wild animals can be seen in their natural surroundings. This area is situated at a distance of 25 km from Ramnagar. One can stay here in the Forest Rest House overnight and enjoy the wildlife at night. However, in any case, the forest guide is necessary to have. The tourist can enjoy animals such as Neelgai, sambhar, and Cheetal as well as a tiger in this area. While visiting this area, one must remember that only two safaris are operated in a day, and hence one needs to plan accordingly.
- Dhikala: This is the most famous part of the Park visited by the visitors who love to enjoy forest Safari. It is a much-known area for the presence of wild animals and scenic beauty of the forest that can tempt one to capture some of the best pictures. It also has a reservoir in the Patli Dun Valley. The grassland here attracts many animals to this area.
- Bijrani: This range is located near the Amdanda Gate where one can have a view of tigers in their natural surroundings easily. The dense forests and grassland make it a perfect wildlife place for the animals and hence the visitors can enjoy the wild safari here at its best.

Well, the Corbett National Park is a much famous tourist attraction in this state. It is well connected by Rail, road, and Air to other parts of the country. Those who want to reach by air, the Pantnagar Airport is at the distance of 80 km only from where one can catch a taxi. Ramnagar is the nearest railway station for those who want to move here by train. One can also get buses from Delhi and other cities from Ramnagar.
